|
Registration Process
- Individual account and team registration will open on May 12, 2008. Registration will remain open until 16 teams have registered. If 16 teams have not registered by May 26, 2008 we will take the highest even number of teams.
- Upon team registration for the tournament opening, your team and it's members must have previously registered all 9 accounts with valid email addresses.
- If you have an account already registered with L2Chronicles, you must register a new account for the tournament, through the individual registration page for the tournament located here.
- Once your team has registered all 9 accounts, the team captain must submit a team application.
- Applications will be processed on a "first come first serve" basis.
- Any discrepancies or missing information when registering your team will render your application invalid even if you were one of the first 16 teams to successfully submit an application. This includes typos and missing information. If this happens, you will not be contacted and we will move to the next application to take your place, so please be sure to include and verify that all the information is entered and entered correctly.
- Registration will close when we recieve, review and verify the first 16 properly and fully completed team applications. If 16 teams have not registered by May 26, 2008 we will drop the number of total teams to the highest even number of teams that have applied.(Example: 13 teams total have registered before the deadline. The first 12 to submit valid applications will be accepted and unfortunately the 13th team will be declined.)
- We will announce the teams after they have been verified and the team leader will be contacted via e-mail. It is the team captains responsibility to contact and inform his team members of match times and dates, as we will not contact each individual team member.

|
Tournament Brackets and Schedule
- Each of the 16 teams will be assigned a corresponding number 1 through 16. This number will be your teams' seed. The tournament bracket will be based upon these seed numbers. Example: Match One: Seed 1 vs Seed 16. Match Two: Seed 2 vs Seed 15. etc.
- As there is no way to reasonably appoint seeds based on each teams' skill, experience or previous performances, as players will be coming from many different servers all over the world, for this tournament seeds will be assigned randomly. In future tournaments, previous tournament experience and placing will affect a teams seed if they have returned.
- The tournament will consist of four rounds over the course of two weeks. Round one will be played over the first weekend, rounds two and three will be played over the second weekend and the championship round will be held right after round three has been completed.
- Date and times will be assigned for your teams first matches when the tournament brackets and seeds have been released. There will be no changing or altering these times once they have been set. If you cannot have all 9 players on at the time of the match your team will be disqualified. (View Match Play Rules for more information.)
- The tournament schedule and bracket is located here.

|
|
Character Creation
- Your characters will be created by the tournament staff members on the corresponding accounts that were stated when your team application was submitted.
- All Fighter Classes will be male characters and all Mystic Classes will be female characters. Hair styles, hair color and facial features will all be default. We will not cater to players specific character looks as it will take much to long to do so, so please do not ask us.
- Your gear will be supplied to you through tokens. You will be given one armor token, one jewelry token and two weapon tokens. You may choose only one armor set but you will be allowed to have two weapons. You can exchange these tokens for your armor and weapons at the NPC inside Elven Ruins. A and S Grade armors and weapons will be available, but only S Grade jewelry will be available. There will be no enchants(Dual Swords will have their SA without being enchanted).
- Dyes will be available at no cost to purchase and apply at the corresponding NPC. Other consumables such as Soulshots, Blessed Spiritshots, Pet Soulshots and Pet Spiritshots will be also available for no cost through the consumable shop NPC.
- Your characters name will be your team name followed by a number 1 through 9.
- A clan(level 0) will be created for your team to accomodate Overlords. All 9 members will be in the clan and the clan name will be the team name that was submitted upon registration.
- Each character will be provided with three CP Tournament Potions, three HP Tournament Potions and three MP Tournament Potions. These instant potions will be distributed to each player before the start of each match. Each potion has a 10 second cooldown, but the cooldown is not shared between the potions(You can use one HP, CP and MP Potion each within 10 seconds but you cannot use two of the same potion within 10 seconds).

|
|
Match Play
- The server will be online the day of the matches.
- Competitors will be expected to be online before the time of their match.
- If a team is missing a player(s) at match time, they will be allowed 15 minutes to wait for that member or find a replacement.
- If a team is unable to field all 9 team members and cannot find a replacement within 15 minutes, they will be forced to forfiet the match.
- Matches will consist of a best of 5 rounds series, with each round lasting 8 minutes each. Each of the rounds will be fought in the 9 vs. 9 format.
- Before each round, each team will have 5 minutes to buff while in their staging areas, outside the combat zone. After the 5 minutes is up you will be ported into the arena.
- There will rabbits spawned in each staging area so Necromancers/Soul Takers may kill them to obtain their summons. Please do not kill these rabbits as your teammate may need them.
- Upon porting into the combat arena we will ask each team to stay where they are until the countdown is complete and the round has begun.
- We will then ask each team leader if their players are ready. When both team leaders have stated they are ready to begin, we will start the match by counting down.
- When the match begins one team will glow blue beneath them, while the opposing team will glow red.
- To win the round, one team must eliminate all of the opposing teams players or have more players standing at the end of the 8 minute round.
- If the number of players alive on each team is equal at the end of the round, the match will be considered a draw and will be fought again. Rounds will be fought until a winner is clearly defined.
- At the end of each round, all team members will be resurrected and ported back into their appropriate staging areas. Again, you will have 5 minutes to buff and prepare yourselves for the next round.
- The first team to win 3 rounds will win the match.
|
|
Post Match
- When a team has won the match, each team will be ported back to Elven Ruins.
- The winning team will be announced and we will begin to prepare for the next matchup.
- Upon winning, you will advance to the next round. Brackets for the next round will not be released until after all the matches for the day have been completed so be sure to check them as soon as possible.
- Fraps footage of all the rounds fought in all the matches for the night will also be uploaded and their links posted on the tournament website.
